The Bluebell is a lovely looking bird which is docile and heavy.  They can lay between 200-240 eggs a year.

Lemon Millefleur Sablepoots

 The attractive Sablepoot is classed as a true bantam and listed as a rare breed by The Rare Poultry Society.

Originally from the Netherlands and sometimes known as the booted bantam, Sablepoots are an ideal choice for a small garden having heavy feathering to the feet so doing little damage to the ground.
 

 

Lavender Araucana photo to follow The Araucana's are a very easy bird to look after and have a friendly personality, they are easily tamed and a real pleasure to own.  They lay approximately 200 beautiful blue eggs.
Buff Orpingtons

The Buff Orpington  is a beautiful bird with a lovely personality.  The breed originated in Orpington, Kent, in the late 1800's.

Warrens can lay up to 330 eggs per year.  They are generally very easy to keep and are much calmer and tamer than pure breeds.

The Light Sussex Chickens are a duel purpose chicken.  They are good for the table and will lay up to 200 eggs a year.

The Cream Legbars lay approximately 180 blue-green eggs per year.  They are a stunning bird and quite inquisitive in nature.

Birds for sale

Our Bronze and Norfolk Black Turkeys are free range from as young as 4 weeks old.  They are very inquisitive birds and enjoy the wind fall apples, they are also partial to the odd potato and especially enjoy dock leaves.  You can buy them at any age from day old poults.   
The Buff Geese free range in their own field and enjoy grazing.  The Gander is very protective of his gaggle, but also very docile as he enjoys eating corn out of our hand.  We sell their eggs for hatching, we also hatch and sell the goslings and raise a number of geese to adulthood. 
We now have a pair of pure Brecon Buffs and will be breeding from them next year.
The Utility Toulouse Geese are excellent parents with the goslings that they have hatched but will also readily parent goslings that have hatched in the incubator.

These Geese are also very docile but will see off any unwanted intruders.  We sell their eggs for hatching, we also hatch and sell the goslings and raise a number of geese to adulthood. 

These Dewlap Toulouse Geese are our newcomers and have settled in very well and will be breeding from them next year.

 

 
We also have Embden type Geese, which we breed and sell as goslings but we also rear these on for meat for Michaelmas Day and Christmas Day. The photo is of our pet 'Snuggles' who was our first Goose.  She is a brilliant mother.

Czech Geese photo to follow Czech Geese are small and one of the lightest geese at only 9lb to 12lb. They are a friendly goose and very chatty. 

Khaki Campbell Ducks are very popular ducks because they are very good egg layers.  We hatch and sell day old ducklings up to any age.

The Aylesbury Duck is a lovely bird who enjoy lots of food and swimming in the pond.


The Saxony Duck originates from Germany are stunning to look at and are very good egg layers, laying between 200-260 white eggs per year and also make a very good meat bird.
 

The Welsh Harlequin Duck has beautiful plumage and can lay between 120 to 300 white eggs per year.
